I heard that you can pay with this method but if i go 'add billing information' on my PS3 user area / PSN account it says 'add credit card information like type of card etc'.
How do I pay with a debit card and can I pay with paypal or anything other then credit card?

As of now, 11/26/07 I believe that there are 3 different packages for the PS3. (40GB, 60GB, and 80GB) I am not 100% sure though. I want to buy a PS3 that has backward compatibility. I believe that the only one that has backward compatibility is the 80GB . Is this right? I've heard that all PS3's no longer include backward compatibility. I do not know which one to get. Please tell me which PS3 has backward compatibility.

ive just bought my ps3 in usa it worked there, ive brought it back to the uk and it like has the red light that comes on then the green one for like a second then goes to red, try to put a disk in and there is resistance...Its plugged into a transformer which is stepping down the current to the correct voltage and then as its an american transformer its plugged into a converter so im doing everything right as it were. It may be a voltage problem but any help will be greatly appreciated thanks Anz

on my ps3 i just got a tv that plays in HD well i took my ps3 to a friends house and could not play it (his tv is not HD So i was using the regular component cables that came with the ps3 i need to know how to get it off the HDMI setting so i can still play it on a none HD Tv?

Man this is something people from the getco people started doubting the ps3 and saying oh this will never be superior to other consoles, oh this will never sell. ok now look at it bam! games are coming and there coming fast the last time i checked when all the 360 fanboys were braggin all through the summer they ain't braggin now and i know that the ps3 will be on top cause it's just a peice of harware you can't resist and it's something more valuable in the long run and people who just can't except it know that the 360 reign is over in atleast jan.1, 2008

I want to buy the 80gb Hong Kong (NTSC-J) ps3 and use it in Australia, however it won't play PAL content (In particular my old ps2 games). Is there a system update for the ps3 up until this point that allows this NTSC-J console to play PAL content?
AND/OR
Does this update allow for DVD's of region 4 (Australia) to play on this region 3 ps3? and also Blu-rays of region B (Australia) to play on this region A ps3?
If not, does anyone know if/when an update such as this would be released?

ok i have my ps3 running online via ethernet cable 2 rooms away to my computer room where my cable box is, to get my modem to read my ps3 connection i have to pull the power plug and plug it bask in to get a connection.......what can i do to make both computer and ps3 able to be online at once and make it easier to just turn on my ps3 and be able to log in without the powering down my modem.......wireless router? thanks for the help

I know this has been asked a lot, but my situation is kinda different. Anyway, I have a ps2 now, but i use a fliptop and most of my games a burnt. So, i think the 40gb PS3 should be fine. Are the missing flash drive and 2 USB ports a big deal?

I can get a 60gb at a circuit city about an hour from my house. But, I think it might possibly be worth saving $100 by getting the 40.

What do you think? Thanks ahead of time.

Just bought a ps3. I have an ilo lcd hdtv when i play a game sometimes there is a little black square that randomly pops up on the screen , sometimes half of the bottom of the screen goes black, it goes away in about 30 seconds, but its kinda annoying. It never did this until I got the ps3. So I thought it was the ps3, but then my wife said it did it to her while she was watching tv. So is it the concole or the tv and what should i do about it?

Its a hong kong version with 11 games and 2 controllers for $270 (wow). The problem is it's a HK version what would be wrong with it can it play USA games, and if the language is changed how do i make it english, anyone know? If someone makes a video to show me how to change language to english or tells me what the things that makes it differ from american version that'd be great peeps. TY!!!!!
