ive just bought my ps3 in usa it worked there, ive brought it back to the uk and it like has the red light that comes on then the green one for like a second then goes to red, try to put a disk in and there is resistance...Its plugged into a transformer which is stepping down the current to the correct voltage and then as its an american transformer its plugged into a converter so im doing everything right as it were. It may be a voltage problem but any help will be greatly appreciated thanks Anz

No, I haven't had any problems with my PS3 at all. If you are having power issues with your PS3 you need to call or email Sony's Customer Support to see what the problem may be.

If your PS3 worked fine while you were in the U.S., it should work fine in the U.K. as well as long as you get the right power converter/transformer. I also think that it may a voltage problem like you stated above.

hey, the best advice I can give you is to ring Sony customer support as long as you are in warranty (1 year)

so far you have done everything right, as I would have, so i dont know where your going wrong. But ring sony as they are very helpful and will sort out any of your problems.

Merry Xmas
