I haven't seen any stores that carry the 60GB PS3. All the stores that I have been to only carry the 40GB and 80GB PS3's. I checked BestBuy.com and Gamestop.com and the only consoles that they sell are the 40GB and 80GB PS3's brand new.
Most likely, the only place to buy a 60GB PS3 is online. Buying online really isn't that bad. I bought my 60GB PS3 from Ebay back in December and I got lucky because the bidding prices of the PS3's back then could reach over $800 easily and I ended up spending only $685 for mine because I was the only bidder.

The 60 gig PS3 has finished backwards compatibility with PS2 video games. you are able to't positioned your song out of your ipod onto the console. all the consoles have HD and might play oftentimes happening DVDs and BluRay. the 40 gig has no backwards compatibility with PS2 video games and the eighty gig has constrained compatibility. all the consoles have finished backwards compatibility with PS1 video games.
