for me i was a little skeptically when the ps3 first came out. but i absolutely love mine. the blu-ray player is great and the hardware is awesome. In fact i haven't seen a single blog/news article devoted to ps3 hardware problems, unlike the shitbox 360. They have a failure rate of 35%. That is horrid. Sony really got there stuff right. Sure the ps3 is a little more than the other systems out there, but its worth it. Great games are coming out. the rumble feature is coming back. And from what I hear the SECA servers are getting some upgrades that should help the already good online play. Plus I think Xbox games are starting to see there limit is size. The dvd con only hold som much, but with blu-ray discs game developers could make endless games. I am hoping that a company has the guts to put a graphically simple game out for the ps3 that just has insane gaming depth. I mean could you imagine a FF game that was graphic like FF7 but took like 2000 hours to pay through the whole thing. Sure the game would take **** for being low on graphics...but the game play would be so long lasting....oh well...one can only hope...lol.

Yeah, I know. I never doubted Sony one bit. I knew that the PS3 would get better as time passed.
The Xbox 360 is running the console race like a sprinter, they tried to get a head start by releasing the Xbox 360 early, but it backfired because so many Xbox 360's have hardware failure, and the Xbox 360's big games like Halo, Bioshock have already come out so year 2008 wont be much of a year for the Xbox 360 in terms of exclusive games. And now the Xbox 360 is losing steam in my opinion because I haven't heard of any big exclusive games coming out for the 360 next year other than Gears of War 2.
As for the PS3, it's running the console racing at a jogging pace right now, and for most of 2007, the PS3 didn't have that many good games out, most of the good PS3 games came out during the mid- to late 2007. And by 2008, the PS3 will be like a out of control rocket missile and will be flying past the Xbox 360 in no time.
Yep, but I agree with you, when January 1, 2008 comes, the Xbox 360's 15 minutes of fame is over and 2008 will be the PS3's year.

eh maybe... took em long enough... They decided to make a console with a bunch of stuff not needed which jacked up the price, then made it "complicated" for the developers to pull the power out of the system. Now with the price at 299 im sure they've doubled there sales. They have some alright exclusives, but its the same with any console. With uncharted 2, the developers said they pretty much pushed the system to its full power. So we know that multiplatform games are still gonna be better for the 360, but if the first party developers pull there heads out then they might bring out some great games. Untill they do that and untill they can compete with xbl ( if thats even possible ) i think it'll do ok enough for them. But all we can do is wait and see. Rumor has it that they plan to get another ( more powerfull ) system out before microsoft launches there next one. Just like they had a year headstart. But for you's that play the ps3, just hope they dont screw up again.

THe PS3 will definetly dominate I mean look at the past in 1995 when the PS1 was 1st launched people underestimated it thinking that it was gonna be a failure but it actually was the game system that changed the ways we looked at video games forever.Sony introduced us to games like Crash Bandicoot,Granturismo,Syphon Philter,Medivil,Final Fantasy I mean the list goes on.On October 29,2000 when the PS2 was launched in the US people were really excited because they knew what to expect from Sony after the PS1 and with Sony adding new features like DVD playback and backward's compatible with PS1 games people were really starting to take notice. The PS2 continues to be successful now.In 2006 when the PS3 was released people were feeling a little skeptical since the high price tag and felt that alot of the features werent worthy of the purchase but now with games like resistance fall of men, ratchet & clank:tools of destruction and games like granturismo 5 and gta iv on the way people are really learning now that Sony hasnt changed they will continue to dominate.

Yeh i would have to agree.
I have been looking to get a PS3 around Christmas and i have been doing a TON of research on it, and i have to say i was a little disappointed at first, as it had no games and i was even considering buying a 360!
But now theres lots of games coming out and a couple of exclusives (Haze) which look to be good.
Yay PS3!

I hated the PS3.... for some unknow reason....
After my 360 Red Ring Of Death for the 6th time i said "to hell with it, i PS3 can't be any worse then this."
Dam... now i looooove my PS3, got a 250GB hard drive in mine with hundreds of movies and TV shows on it (Media Server) as well as free online gaming and Blu-ray movies.
I now know not to listen to all the haters...

Anyone could see this coming. Ps3 has one hell of a 2k8 lineup. Let's do some grave digging, time to bury the 360.
