I know this has been asked a lot, but my situation is kinda different. Anyway, I have a ps2 now, but i use a fliptop and most of my games a burnt. So, i think the 40gb PS3 should be fine. Are the missing flash drive and 2 USB ports a big deal?

I can get a 60gb at a circuit city about an hour from my house. But, I think it might possibly be worth saving $100 by getting the 40.

What do you think? Thanks ahead of time.

(No, Xbox fanboys telling me not to get one please, my mind is set, you can't convince me)

well, xbox is better,jk(well it is but...) u should save the $100 and get the 40gb because 40gb is definatly big even unless ur planning on saving a lot of stuff on it and u could get a couple games with the $100.

Yes, I think that the 40GB PS3 is right for you if plan on just playing mostly PS3 games because the 40GB PS3 isn't backward compatible with PS2 games, but it can play PS1 games.

I really think that you should spend the extra $100 dollars for the 60GB PS3. The 60GB PS3 can play nearly every PS1 and PS2 game ever made and has the best backward compatibility just like the 20GB PS3.

Also, the missing flash drives and 2 USB ports aren't really a big deal unless you have a digital camera or PSP to use the flash drives with.

I have seen questions on Yahoo Answers a lot over the past few days about people asking where they can find 60GB PS3's in stores, but the majority of stores don't even sell them anymore because they have been discontinued. Get the 60GB PS3 for sure.

i opt to advise you wait a on a similar time as because of the fact sony announce at e3 that there is going to be a sparkling ps3 form referred to as ps3 center which has the comparable function because of the fact the 40gb ( no reminiscence card slot, 2 usb port, and can't play ps2 video games,) in spite of the fact that it has a much bigger stressfulcontinual and a dualshock 3 controller the single with the rumble function for 399 in united statesa. ( sorry i forgot with reference to the launch date for the ps3 center )

The 40GB PS3 does not play PS2 games, so if you don't want to play PS2 games, then the 40GB is perfect, though if you want to play PS2 games get either the 60GB or 80GB PS3.

no get the 60gb or the 80gb chances are the burned disc wont play and the 40gb has zero backwards compatibility, the two usb ports to me are a big deal (what if you wear two out because you didnt use a USB hub) plus the 40gb does not have compact flash, SD card reader, or memory stick. plus the 60gb will not be out much longer get this rare system while you still can. i have it and its great.

also the 60gb plays more PS1 & 2 games than the 80gb

HEY IDIOT XBOX BOX FANS WE ALL THANK YOU FOR THE NEGATIVE RATINGS
