Just bought a ps3. I have an ilo lcd hdtv when i play a game sometimes there is a little black square that randomly pops up on the screen , sometimes half of the bottom of the screen goes black, it goes away in about 30 seconds, but its kinda annoying. It never did this until I got the ps3. So I thought it was the ps3, but then my wife said it did it to her while she was watching tv. So is it the concole or the tv and what should i do about it?

It sounds like the TV, try out the PS3 on another TV and see if there are any problems.

oviously is the TV, the TV's colour bulb or the coulour screen is damaged. i had the same problem with my wii. The PS3 is truly amazing, the games that they have for the ps3 is only using 10% of PS3's ability and the games are already as good as the games for other systems. imagine the games that will come out for the ps3 in 2008 when they can use 100% of ps3's power.

Well, it's not as if the PS3 can "infect" the TV, so if you are watching a TV show and it happens, then it must be the TV.

Try to set PS3 TV settings according to your TV (type of connection, resolution, etc.)
