how do i get the display setting off of HDMI on my PS3?

on my ps3 i just got a tv that plays in HD well i took my ps3 to a friends house and could not play it (his tv is not HD So i was using the regular component cables that came with the ps3 i need to know how to get it off the HDMI setting so i can still play it on a none HD Tv?

yea
when its on standby [red lights]
hold down the power button until it has a bunch of beeps
this does a system settings reset
it will put the PS3 back to regular TV
