although it is brand new
i know the PS BUtton in the middle is suppost to light up red
why doesnt it do that

I recently bought Gaelic Games: Hurling in Ireland, and when I asked the clerk at HMV he said it would play in my PS2. Unfortunately, it did not work in my NTSC PS2, does anyone have any ideas on how i could play it on my PS2?

I want a PS3 for Christmas but, I don't know which is better. I'm most likly to go with the PS3 but, a lot of people say that the Xbox360 is better and I don't know why. I mean the graphics are better for the PS3 then the Xbox360 (on my opinoin). I also want it because of the online gaming. The online gaming is free for the PS3. I don't know if it's free for the xbox360 though.

I want to buy a PS3 but i don't know which to get. I play Madden and NCAA 08 on ps2 so i would like it to be able to play those games. I really don't understand the difference in the 60gb and the 80gb besides more memory space. So far from what i see i want the 60gb but i can't find it. If i get the 80gb would that be an upgrade or down grade in gaming quality.

The card isn't full of memory, but it does have a few games on it. Whenever I am trying to save games or start a new save file on a game, it will say loading for a second then say that there isn't a card inserted even when I pushed it in super hard. I can't save anything on it, although sometimes it will let me load previously saved games. Please help me!?!?!?!?

It wont play Motor Storm on it. When I pop it in, it acts like it it is going to start, but then it just goes to a black screen. I left it like that for a while but nothing happened. PLease help.

The system seems to "run".. you can hear it .. and the lights are on.. door works.. but nothing comes on the tv screen.. ( just a few lines) has worked perfectly in the past.. anyone have some ideas as to how to get it up and working again? thanks in advance..we've changed tvs, power cords all with same results....

I don't know what's wrong with it, I got the PS3 yesterday, and the game that currently isn't working is Madden '08. In the PS3 manual, it says that you CAN'T play PS2 games, but from other sources, I think I should be able to.

Help is appreciated.

I want to purchase one of the consoles for the entire family. So of course Dad wants to get in some Madden or sports game for that matter.
