my ps3 60gb can only play ps games not ps2 games is this right, do i need to get it fixed or swaped,

please respond as soon as posible

are you sure its not the 40gb because that one can play PS1 games but not PS2. If you have the 40gb it will have two USB ports in the front. If thats not the problem try some other PS2 games.

No, that's not right. A 60GB PS3 should be able to play your PS2 games as well.

Not all of the games from PS2 can be played. First, check if your PS2 games can be played. Make sure that PS2 CDs aren't scratched. If there are on the list of compatible games, but your console doesn't play them - unfortunately, it's time to take it to the service.
