How do you save an entire playstation 1 (or 2) game to your playstation3?

e.g. Saving an entire playstation game from the disc on to the playstation 3 hardrive

You cannot save an entire PS1/PS2 game to the PS3's hard drive. There are downloadable PS1 Classic games on the Playstation Store such as Medievil and Spyro the Dragon, and the entire game is saved to the PS3's hard drive, but you cant just copy if from the disc onto the PS3's hard drive.
