All the gaming systems are good. I would buy a really good game for the nintendo Wii. Like the new Zelda or Mario Galaxy. If he likes shooting games, maybe Metroid Prime. Otherwise, all the other systems have a lot of games but are much more expensive.
But i dont think you can go wrong with Mario.

I think I was still playing connect four when I was ten.
I'm 20 and I don't have nintendo DS, wii, OR a PS3.
I feel deprived lol.
Wii and Nintendo DS should already be enough for a ten year old in my honest opinion.

most of the games are T and M so for a ten year old? Its hard to tell and it can be hard to understand sometimes I think if your looking for a gaming system for his age stick with the wii. But garpics are great and not the best games for kids 8-11 but your dad will be playing more trust me. iv seen my friends your dads ganna be all over it. but the blue ray is pretty good if u dont have a DVD player

Yes, playstation 3 is a great system. It can play games(obviously), dvd's, bluray discs, music, and pictures. If you do not have a playstation 2(so you don't have any ps2 games) buy a 40GB ps3 for him. It is the cheapest one $400. and is basically the same than all the other one's other than backward compatability which means can play ps2 games and ps1 games. It comes with a controller and spiderman 3 bluray disc. he could play against all of his friends with ps3 online which is free unlike xbox live. It is a great system.

If you already have a Wii, then yes, the PS3 is a good game system to choose. The PS3 has games like Rachet and Clank Future Tools of Destruction that he can play and have plenty of fun with. The PS3 is the most diverse console out of all of the consoles because it has good games that are rated "E" , "T", and rated "M".

This kid has a Wii and a DS? He should be thankful for the things he has. Many kids arent even fortunate enough to have one of those.
Wii and Ds' are aimed more towards the younger generation, generally. So I think your safest bet would be to stay with something designed for younger children.

Its the best by far. The wii doesnt even compare to it. Alot of its games are directed more for young males 13-30, but at 10 he is already getting there so yes i would say so.

If I were you, i could opt for the flow. It has a million:a million controls and works o.k.. purely in certain situations will you note a moderate perchance 0.5 a 2d delay. It has a large type of video games and would even take care of to play 3-D video games in a lengthy time period. you are able to play activities video games, dance video games, shooters, puzzlers, casual and kin video games, you are able to in reality play any type of sport you opt for. With alot of the PS3's proper exclusives coming to the flow, it truly is the proper decision. All i have considered for Kinect is this activities sport and this Kinectimals which they type of copied the call of the PSP's Invizimals. you are able to play in larger pics and smoother controls and basically established better. if you're a diehard XBOX fan then purchase a Kinect. in case you opt for the better one, purchase a flow and PS3.

Yeah! The graphics are amazing, Wireless controller's so theres not loads of them hanging off the shelf etc.
The only bad thing about them is that the games are a bit expensive..
You can get games like FIFA 08 For about £50... But games like, Crash bandicoot & can be from £20-£40
