I have HP Image Zone and it is very simple, but it doesn't do all the stuff I want to do with my pictures. Any tips or suggestions on short cuts for the photo shop.

Okay. I'm having a tough time choosing one to purchase.

My friend has the Fujifilm FinePix S5200 and it takes great pictures:

But I reallly want the new Nikon D80, which is $600 more.

DSLR owners, why do you suggest?

Thanks.

I have used kodak cameras, and they are really good. The thing is, they don't take the quality of pictures I want. I'm looking for a professional grade camera, with a price range of 400-700 dollars. I love the canon and nikon cameras, but I have a question, is their software compadiable with a Mac? I have the latest operating system, an OSX 14, and 512MB RAM. (Im upgrading to 1GB when leopard comes out.) I want a camera with good clarity, zoom features, and shutter speeds. Interchangeable lenses, I dont need, but interchangeable flashes/speedlights would be nice. Thanks for the help!!

Yours,
Stephanie

I just got this camera the other day as a late christmas present, and I absolutely love it except, I'm not very intelligent when it comes to things like this. So my question is... is it possible with the color accent to get one's eye color to stand out and make everything else black and white??? Any comments would help.

My husband’s boss gave him a digital camera but he didn’t have any of the cords, the software, or anything that came with the camera.. So we aren’t actually able to use the camera because we have none of the assessories to use it. I looked on bestbuys website because they have an area where you can search for the parts for you electronics but DXG was not listed as a brand. I also looked at Circuit City where they actually do sell the DXG digital camera and they didn’t have the brand listed for finding parts either. So I’m at a loss. What should I do? Just pitch the camera and buy a new one or does anyone know of where to find these parts at???

I wouldn't use it for anything really advanced, just taking pics of anything that strikes my fancy. I'd like something under $200, preferably with good optical zoom, somewhere around maybe 6 pixels? Like I said, since I'm only a high school student, it won't be for anything fancy. Any help/recommendations would be terrific! Thanks!

I've noticed that Kodak has some pocket digital cameras with 10x, but it seems none of the major retailers, Best Buy, Office Depot, Staples etc., do not carry these Kodak models. Is there a problem with them?

I currently own a Canon Powershot S1 IS camera, 3.2 megapixels, 10x optical zoom, capable of 640x480 video w/ sound.

I recently stumbled upon the Canon S2 IS, the next generation update to the S1, for a seriously reduced clearance price at Sears (where i also receive a 10% discount). I bought the last 2, thinking I could sell at least one of them at a profit, but then I got to thinking, I should sell my old S1 in favor of the newer model. The S2 has got 5.0 MP, with a 12x optical zoom, and improved movie mode with stereo recording audio.

Bottom line, I picked up the S2 for $222.99. Rock bottom solid. Problem is, I love my S1 so much and it has been so problem-free that I don't know if I should risk going to the next model.

Furthermore, the S3 is now entering the market, but is still way out of my price range. Do you think S2 would be the best value? I've heard it can be buggy/problemous, should I even bother upgrading? Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I've had my Holga for about a half a year now, but still haven't come up with anything great. Anything you've found in your experience about lighting, speeds, developing (I don't do it myself), loading- whatever you've got!
