i was trying to change the date and time while in the car but i hadn't noticed the bumpy road, so i formatted the card on accident during the first bump

Sorry, formatting the card erases everything irretrievably,

There are some software programs you may be able to find on the internet that say they can recover images off of formated cameras, but I've never been sucessful. Of course I haven't really ever tried either...
I should give it a try...

I don't know how it's done but what I understand is that SanDisk and Lexar brands have the ability to recover some information as long as you haven't written over the files again. Also there is software to be able to do it to. Good Luck

you may lose parts, but you may be able to recover some if you are careful and write nothing more to the flash.

Some are free downloads, others are paid services where you ship them your memory...

as with anything you are on your own here... use caution when downloading or installing any unknown program!

make certain your anti-virus is up to date...
