I am using Canon ixus 400, recently the LCD screen suddenly turned very dim (close to black). I managed to tune the brightness of LCD to maximum but it is still very dim. Had tried taking picture thru viewfinder and download to PC, picture was perfect just that the LCD is dimmed. Do you have any solutions before heading to the servicing center? Thanks

I am asking for a digital camera for my birthday and would love to hear any good deals out there. I am only buying through stores and need to know what to look for in a camera. I'd like one in the $100-$125 range and will also be wanting one of those chips that you can store photos on. I like taking pictures and sharing them so I'll also want one that I can easily get developed with great pictures. If you know of any good deals going from now untill April please let me know.thanks!

I've always wanted those black thick cameras, sort of like the ones paparazzi has (lol!). With a digital screen, but I don't want a typical digital camera. The lens doesn't have to be at all fancy (but decent). I want focusing where I can choose which "area" to sharpen and which area to blur. I want angles and distortion, not just flat boring pictures. I would like to spend under $1,000. The cheaper the better of course, cheap but with great quality. Does anyone know what kind of camera I should buy?

I was taking a close-up of my uncle's dog, and, being a little too friendly, she licked the outer lens of my BRAND NEW Canon Rebel. :/ It's not new and shiny anymore... :(

Does anyone know easy household tips? Any help would be appreciated... I'm so protective over my new Canon.

I have recently bought the Canon rebel 400, I bought it with the lens accompanied, I use the 380ex speedlight, as the manual says it is compatible with all ex series. Why is it I get dark pictures, I set my camera to manual, 60/8 and let the flash fill in as much as it conciders needed, evaluation at "partial metering"

I'm really into photography, but so far i've only used my parents camera to take pictures. I want to get one for myself, that is decently priced($150-300) and can produce nice looking pictures. Also, if someone could explain the difference between cameras to me, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

It seems something is stopping the cord from going all the way in but i cannot see anything blocking it, anyone else have this problem or a solution to mine. computer says no pictures in camera but there are, i pulled the card out and developed them at walmart, but had to pay about $15.00 for this when i was doing it on my computer for free.

I have a Minolta Maxxum 7000 with two lenses: a 100-200mm AF lens and the 50 mm AF lens. Is it possible to buy a digital SLR body that I can use my film SLR lenses on? If so, do you know which digital SLRs would work?

my uncle bought my Canon A620 camera, so now i'm stuck without a camera but with an extra 200 bucks.

i'm willing to put in another benjamin, but that's about as far as i will go. i was thinking of getting the A630, but that's too much like the A620.

what camera should i get, that's around 300 bucks. no more than 320. prefferrably a canon, but other brands with the exception of Sony and Panasonic is fine by me.

any recommendations?

My Nikon D-70 is acting up. I'd like some feedback on potential solutions. Specifically, the viewfinder display blinks erratically. After taking a photograph the green processing light stays on "forever." The camera has become very sluggish.

I just bought this camera. And I got it for the sole purpose of printing portraits at least 8 x 10 and maybe a bit larger. I try to order prints in that size and it developer says resolution is too low! What? Took to Walgreens, same thing. Tried to order online..same thing! I'm hurt
