The 300V is a 35mm film camera for keen amateurs. It should be good enough for 99% of all photographers, but it's not a professional camera. For that, it lacks some advanced features and an almost bullet-proof housing.
The same is true for the lenses. They should provide all the zoom range you need and they're good enough for most users, but they don't have the qualities of professional grade zooms:
* the best possible image quality
* super fast auto-focus
* rugged build quality
* great low-light performance
Then again, a professional body and professional grade lenses with this zoom range would cost a small fortune.
