I'm a tattoo artist and i've used a few types of cameras already and i'm not satisfied with the picture quality of them. All the pictures i take are very up close i'd say about 2" to 24" depending on where the tattoo is placed and what the tattoo is. So if anybody could help me out with this it would be great.

i wanted a pair of digital camera binoculars for christmas, and i ended up gettin two pairs. One is a Simmons Captureview 8x42, and the other one is a Meade Captureview 8x30. I am looking for a new camera and I've narrowed it down to these choices:
Canon SD600 or SD630
Casio Exilim EX-S600, EX-Z600, or EX-Z70
I'm more concerned with shutter lag. I want a camera that I can take fast pictures with and has a low recycle time. I want something that is not bulky and looks good too. Good image quality of course, but mainly I want to be able to take quick snapshots. If there are any other suggestions for around the same price and style I'd appreciate it. Thanks

interested in getting a sony sm. digital camera wondering if the 5.1 mp is much diff than the 6 mp? I'm not interested in supersizing the pictures. All I want is a sm. camera that takes good pics. I have a 5.1 mp sony already that is the large size w/ the 12 x zoom, but it is too lg. to put in my pocket, this way I could use the pro cards in either camera. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Hello-
I am looking to upgrade my old camera. I have a 5 megapixel camera now, but the pictures come out grainy. I was looking at getting a 7.1 (3x optical) megapixel from sony, but then I was told that if I wanted a good quality camera, that 6 megapixel with a higher zoom would be just as good plus I would have the added benefit of being able to zoom in closer to objects without getting that digital haze.
Any help in comparing the two features and/ or product suggestion is appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Alright I had recently bought a camera, the kind you can buy then you get them developed and they throw it away.

I had someone take pictures of me during one of my basketball games. Then I had some exposures left so I took pictures of me and my girlfriend.

I just got the pictures to day but the only ones that came out were the ones of me and my girlfriend.

I looked at the film strips and I see the pictures of the basketball game but they didn't come out.

CAN I GET THEM DEVELOPED WITH THOSE FILM STRIPS?

we have a finepix camera right now, which works great, but we lost the USB cable that allows the camera to transfer pictures to the computer. we're going to ask the company to ship another to us, but my mom would like to get another camera anyway. we want something powerful that will take good pictures. i told her some of my friends have the canon powershot, but she said it's pretty small and she's not sure if it's "powerful" enough.

any suggestions on what camera to get?

I am not talking about the 30D or any of the 1D series, I am looking for a Full frame canon that can do what the 5D does, but I've read I shouldn't buy the 5D now b/c it will be replaced soon... Last year, I bought the 20d and it was replaced within two months by the 30d... for just a few $$ more, I don't want to repeat that this time.
Has anyone had any insider info?

My little brother was playing with my Canon SD400 camera and now all 200 pictures are gone from 1.0 GB SanDisk Ultra II memory card. I don't know if he "erased all" or "formated". 14 pictures were taken after the deletion.

PLEASE...does anyone know if I can retrieve these deleted photos. Anything is possible...right???? Thanks so much in advance.

I know the Fuji has 7.3 megapixels and the Sony only has 6, but are there other things to base the decision on? Both have the same screen size and zoom qualities but I don't know about shutter and any other internal characteristics. Please help. Thanks!!

I really want the Olympus 7.1 mp that is waterproof and shockproof, but Olympus also makes a camera that is 10.0...but not waterproof/shockproof...

someone said you wont really be able to tell, is this true? I like to always have the "best" technology out there but also want the waterproof/shockproof feature...any thoughts that would help me make my decision?

I own Cyber-shot DSC-H2. After taking picture I find that I can enlarge, move shot up and down, and sideways from lcd screen; but can't find how to take picture of cropped part from camera. I guess you call it picture in picture. Can't find it in manual, but ain't the best reader either. Does anyone know how? OR maybe camera wasn't designed to do it.

I want to buy a digital camera and most of the cameras I saw that powered by batteries were cheaper...do they take bad pics? Do cameras that charge by pluging it into the an outlet work better?

My daughter received a mini digital camera for Christmas and is unsure of how it operates. The directions were very unclear. Any ideas on how to operate it and then, how to save the photos and finally, how does she download them? It did come with a disk. Electronics is just not my thing.

So what options are out there for me? I'm looking for a $200-300 digital camera that is slim in size & can fit into a purse/pocket. I would prefer 5x Optical or more, though slim size may prevent this & I might have to settle for 3-4x. I just want enough MP to cover I'm flexible on MP; I just want something that can cover the standard photo sizes. I'm not looking for professional quality, but I would like clear pictures with crisp colors for both indoors and out. Batteries need to be rechargeable (rechargeable AA's or a battery special to the camera). The viewing screen doesn't need to be too large, just something bigger than stamp size and readable. The ability to switch to a non-digital viewing screen is a plus. Camera needs to double as a video camera that can also take sound with tolerable quality. Nothing spectacular Memory: Would prefer a type of memory that is common and not some obscure brand. Image stablization would be prefered as well as USB-friendly.
