I know the Fuji has 7.3 megapixels and the Sony only has 6, but are there other things to base the decision on? Both have the same screen size and zoom qualities but I don't know about shutter and any other internal characteristics. Please help. Thanks!!

they are not expert cameras - you will pay 30x that for a expert digicam! The Fuji is a bridge digicam which will geive you larger administration over the exposure nad has the look and sense of a DSLR. draw back is that that's colossal and cumbersome The Sony is a factor-and-shoot it particularly is a lot extra compact so is extra handy to hold around. the two would be stable - attempt the two and get the single you like terrific.

Fuji has a much better CCD (think of it as the digital equivalent as film), and also my experience with Sony products have all been bad. Even though it's not the A700 (the CCD is similar) you can see my photos by emailing me.
