No. as long as it is the same type eg SD (Secure Digital) any make will fit. Take the card out of your camera and check the type and size then you will know what to buy, a 512mb card will store circa 300 pictures depending on the image settings.

There are many different types of memory cards, E.g. SD, XD, Flash etc. U hav to check which yours is. For SD it doesnt matter wat company makes them, any will do.
However for XD cards there are 2 types (i think type H and M), so u hav to buy the specific one, especially with olympus/ fuji cameras.
