Cameras - December 2006

Right now, I have an Olympus Stylus 300 Digital camera and I like it but it's a few years old and I'd like to get a new camera with higher megapixels before I go on vacation. I want another Olympus so I can use my same Olympus xD Picture Card but I'm not sure which one to get (under $300). Is the Olympus Stylus 710 any good? Which digital camera would you guys reccomend?

What can I do to remove the fine mist of a "splattered mud look" that my Kodak DC215 is producing. It's all exactly the same pattern on ALL the photos I take.
I don't really want to print any of these out, but it's the Christmas Holiday Season and it looks like I'll have to.
Possibly, as far as cleaning, does anyone know HOW TO or is it a good idea to take the camera apart and "clean it"?

i just got a new samsung digimax A503 for xmas. it has video but my videos can only last 23 seconds long. it didnt come with a memory card. is that y their so short?? how can i make them last longer?? help me plz!!

I know it might be impossible but I am sort of limited on my spending. Please answer with the best ones possible. Also if you can tell me how many pictures it can store. This would be SUCH a help for me! I would like it very much if you can find one at a such place as Walmart, Circuit City, K-Mart, etc. Hopefully you suggest a good one and I can give you the points!! My new PT44434 camera is not recognizing the SD Card I have. It's a brand new Edge 256MB SD Memory Card and I've even tried to format it. It won't recognize it in my camera, but it will in other cameras. So this is a Camera issue best I can tell...

My digital camera (Canon Ixus II, just over 2 yrs old) has started to take ramdon blurred pictures. First pic can be sharp, 2nd pic a bit blurred, 3rd pic very blurred. Then 4th pic sharp again. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is it easily fixed? Should I upgrade to a new camera? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you.

my camera is a Samsung Digimax D53 and it came with Duracell Ultra batteries. there new and my camera dies in 20 mins. so i got new batteries called Panasonic batteries. and i yurned my camera on and it said low battery and turned off...

i dont get it.. and what do i need to do?

its eating up batteries like crazy. ive been through about 6AA and i just it yesterday.
i thought it was because you have to hook it up to the computer and turn it on and the computer was doing but i dont know now.
