Target, Walmart, E-Bay. My friends recently purchased a digital camera on E-bay, we had it sent to us & it was actually very nice.
It was exactly what it said, it was used but none the less it was in great shape & not too expensive. Just make sure that you follow up on mega pixels, screen resolution, special features & all that hoopla. But also if you don't care for Online buying then I sugges Target, they have a pretty good selection of camera's, but i'm not too sure on the pricing. Check it out.
Best of Luck

Adorama is the most reputable of the discount camera dealers in NYC. Not the cheapest, but they do sell for a lot less than many competitors. They have also been around alot longer than some stores and have a very large inventory.

Lots and lots of stores. There are so many I can't count them all. Each little town has stores. Big cities have lots of stores sometimes even owned by the same chain. I've even been to other states and they have stores that sell cheap digital cameras too!

Costco, Sam's, Target, K-Mart, or Wal Mart. All are pretty close in price.

Try buying it online. Try: www.amazon.com or www.newegg.com , my two favorite websites. www.walmart.com , it's not bad too.
