Ooops. Just a few minutes ago I was doing laundry and right before I put the detergent in I remembered I had a fuji 256 MB XD card in a little pocket of a shirt. It was in a little plastic pouch but it wasn't a waterproof one and water got in it. It was cold water and like I said no detergent. Is there a chance it might still work once it dries?
At least there wasn't any pics still on it...

I am thinking of buying a Canon A620 digital camera. How do I know what digital memory cards will work with it? Looking at Amazon.com, it recommends a "SanDisk SDSDH-1024-901 1 GB Ultra II Secure Digital Memory Card", but there is also a "SanDisk SDSDB-1024-A10 1 GB Secure Digital Card" that customers bought instead. What's the difference, and could they both work? HELP!

Does anyone know or heard of the development of a digital/film hybrid camera. It seems to me that I read something in SHUTTERBUG about a year ago but haven't seen anything else.

It is just a plain old 30$ camera... It is called a Dual Mode Digital Camera model GC-A33. There isn't a screen on the back to view your pictures and you cannot record videos. It is just for digital pictures.

I was just wondering if anybody knew if I can download the software.

Hi, I am trying to choose between Canon A700 and Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ1. Canon A700 has 6x optical zoom and 6MP, but no stabilization while Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ1 has 10x zoom, 5PM and stabilization. The price is basically the same. Which one do you think is better choice? Thank you.

I'm trying to make a 20X30 inch image, but am not sure how many pixels the digital image should be to begin with so it doesn't look pixilated.

At a certain point, the output would match or exceed film and aside from professionals, normal users would not need to print anything approching those sizes. So will camera companies eventually adopt an "industry standard" (e.g. lets say 16megapixels is >= 35mm film resolution) or will we see 120megapixel cameras in the next 10 years?

I'm looking for a point and shoot digital model that has a 28mm equivalent lens or at least close but they all seem to cap out at 35-36mm equiv. Any suggestions?
