Yes. There are 2 ways to do this.
1. Write a cd with the images and play them on a DVD player which supports picture playback (many do nowadays).
2. Write your picture to a DVD/CD as a slideshow movie. There are quite a few software that will allow you to do this. You can then play it back on any DVD player as it shows up like a regular DVD/VCD movie.
Obviously option 2 will take more time/effort/resources but you'll be able to use it on any ole player.

I bought a $35 "no-name" DVD player from Wal Mart about a year ago that will do a slide show of CDs with pictures on it. If that one does it, I image that most of the recent units will do it too. Give it a try.

This strictly depends on your DVD player. There is a technology called Picture CD from Kodak that some DVDs will support. Consult your DVD manual. Some software will also create slideshows that can be played on any DVD .

It depends on what kind of DVD player that you have. Check your DVD player and see. I know that RCA players will play your pictures.
