I'm looking for a point and shoot digital model that has a 28mm equivalent lens or at least close but they all seem to cap out at 35-36mm equiv. Any suggestions?

You can search for different models and reviews at dpreview.com or megapixel.net

I currently use the Canon Powershot S80. 28mm equivalent lens.

A quich search on http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/compare.asp turns up at least 10 models with a wide end of 28mm or less. You can use the same site for reviews, or look them up at http://www.steves-digicams.com/hardware_reviews.html
Best wishes!
