I need to get in touch with the management for Panasonic electronics. I can't get passed tech support over the phone. I have a complaint about a camcorder, but I don't have anyone to complain to other than the techs, and they're not helpful at all! Please help1!

I need to record from 2 or 3 (whatever is going to be easiest and best) video cameras simultaneously and get the recordings into one video file which eventually is digital. What is the best way to do this and keep relatively high quality? Advice on any products including cameras would be much appreciated.

Details: plugged into a new PC (winXP) with Firewire. Yesterday I used WinDV123 to capture two 45 min tapes, no problems.

Today when I try to output to tape, it starts runnning (ie software working great) and then the deck just turns off for no reason. I am able to turn it right back on again (turn power sw on/off _or_ by unplugging power cord and then replugging). Tried a different tape, same problem. It worked fine earlier today using a Mac (recording to tape from HD).

Has not been mishandled. All cable connections cheked and secure. Tried two different power outlets. It does this with the Firewire plugged in or not plugged in.

I'm looking for the best resolution, color, durability, etc. I don't necessarily need the cheapest, just the best.

Thanks

I'm shopping for a camcorder/camera. Specifically a hybrid SD/HDD. I want a high optical zoom with a high megapixel resolution for the still camera. There doesn't seem to be one in the consumer market. Why is this? Is it something technical with the way the camera functions?
