Is there a way to connect my camcorder to my TV and record from the TV?

it is not likely. the camcorder is designed to use its internal lens as the source for recording. camcorders do not have built-in TV tuners, so you cannot connect it to the antenna. TV sets rarely have demodulated Audio/Video outputs, although many have A/V inputs which can allow you to playback a previously recorded tape from the camcorder using its A/V output adaptor.
