my hubby recently bought me a brand new dvd cam with an SD picture card and i know how to transfer pictures from the card to my computer but how do i transfer pictures onto the card from my computer??

If you have the camcorder connected to your computer with the card in it, make sure the camcorder is turned on in the mode that lets you copy pictures from the camcorder to the camera. Open Windows Explorer and locate the camera in the list of folders and hard drives. Click on the camera, then browse to a folder with images in it. You can then drag and drop images from your computer to your camcorder SD card.

If You Can't Do This With The Camera, Get A Media Card Reader ($9.99 To $49.99 Depending On How Many Card Types It Will Accept) These Are Available In Most "Electronics" Stores Or The "Electronics" Dept. Of Stores Like WalMart, K-Mart.

As BigJim mentioned earlier, get a media card reader/ writer for easy transfer from & to.

did you throw away the instructions? if not, i suggest you read them! (if u did throw them away, you can amost always find them on the net.... just do a search including the type of camara [brand, model, etc] and you'll probably find eather the instructions or a tech suport site)
