for ease and a simple life, get a dvdr/video combi, start £150 upwards.

However if you have a dvdr and a separate video then just " connect " them using scart, and transfer across.

hope this helps wg

Hi,

Easy if there is no copyright on the played media just buy a scart lead if you dont have one in Europe or just run rca leads. If it is copyrighted, there are devices out there that are legal to own if they do other things like a Time base corrector for example.

The CCR9 at www.lektropacks.co.uk is legal to own for example and will give you a stable colour transfer

You'll need a VHS/DVD recorder capable of playing both.
