I'm using a Sony DCR-TRV280 Handycam® Camcorder for making Independent Films, and want to know what recording speed I should use?

Or "texting", for short.

I just don't understand why people have long conversations through texting when they could say what they wanted to say 10 times faster if they just called the person!

It makes sense if you just want a quick answer to something, but it's almost never used in that way.

But now I want to get back into it and I am at a loss. I love the look and feel of Nikon's D40 but now I'm really liking Canon's EOS Rebel XT. What is the best digital camera of the two? Or does anyone know of some that are better? I know a lot is based on opinion, but I want/need the best bang for my buck! ;] Help!

I have an Ethernet “network connection” port on my HD/DVR and my A/V receiver. Is ther any reason I should connect the two? What else besides hooking these up to a computer network are these ports for?

This Friday is my 12th birthday. My mom told me since she wasn't getting me an Ipod she was going to get everyone in my family(5 people) to give me money so I can buy my own Ipod. That will be the only thing I get for my birthday but the problem is is I get an ipod with itunes I cat get any songs because I have KVI dial up and I have to have high speed internet and I dont live near anybody that has that. What should I do?

OK. I have been searching for the best receiver around this price range and have not been able to decide on which one is better. I am buying one online tonight for sure. PLEASE give me a straight answer on which one is best!!!
The receiver will be used for:

Does anyone know if the DVRs, that Dish Network Supplies, has a USB port in them so i can transfer my recorded videos onto my computer because one, I am running out of space and two, I want ot put some of these vids onto DVD. If they don't, is there any other way to put them onto a computer?

My iPod syncs fine with all my music, except for one TV show. I have an iPod video. I bought the TV show off iTunes, and for some reason, my iPod doesn't have the TV show on it, even though iTunes does.

It has TONS of memory space, and I tried restarting the computer. I also tried syncing it multiple times. I have the lastest version of iTunes.

Why isn't the show appearing on my iPod?! Is there a way to sync the iPod with that show manually? Help please!!!!

I'm just getting a tube tv....i dont see the sense in getting an HDTV or a plasma because it wont help with graphics on the wii anyway. I'm planning on just putting it on this computer desk I have in my room so what do you think? 20" big enough for the wii. Please dont tell me something stupid like "go get a 42" plasma tv because i'm not going there...thanks

As putting yout TV on standby still consumes some energy, I bought an extra socket, so I can turn the TV's power completely off.( The TV itself can only be put on standby, but not completely off. )
Now is it bad for my Plasma TV (42 inches) if I turn the power compeltely off at night, instead of putting it on standby?

want to put videos on to my ipod nano (the new 1 4 gb) and you can only put videos from the store itunes and i was creating 1 and on the second page it showed me master card vis and then a green box what does the box mean(i dont want to pay with master or visa i want to pay with pre paid ONLY)
but it still wants me to wright my master card but i dont have 1 and i dont want to put my moms or dads card there cuz i obly wantr to pay with pre paid so how do i make an account with only pre paid or if i create an account with that visa but do i still have to pay or they just want to know

I am planning an anniversary party. I do not know anything about burning music, never ever did it before. I usually go to the stores and just buy the CD's and just call it a day. Hi i am really interested in the playstation 3 but am not sure it is the right buy. i hear in about a year when games start coming out exclusively for PS3 you will see a wider range in graphics with the PS3 compared to the xbox 360, is this true? and if i buy a PS 3 is it going to be the top counsel on the market in 4 or 5 years or will xbox release a new counsil by then? is it worth buyig a PS3?

I just ordered a IPOD mini off e-bay
it only comes with the ipod
i have never had one this is my first i decided to get a cheaper used one before spending to much money to see if i actually use the damn thing
but i know i need itunes
and a charger or i dunno how to charge them

This TV maybe an old one (coughs...CRT...coughs) but it has superb picture quality. Then, it became ill. The picture is kind of jumpy/bouncy (screen goes up-down-up-down like a trampoline). Is there a remedy to this?

If there is no solution, should I have it repaired or replaced? Why?
