I have a playstation 2, were it have been working well.. Recently i got some interesting game CDs, But it is a pirated one,.. I found its not working in my PS2 , it showing "Please Insert Playstation format disc". But these CDs are well working in my friend's PS2.. Also It plays film DVDs very well.. Pls help me what to do... Some guys told me to make it "Multi", But i donot understand it..

The viewing distance will be 1.9-3 meters my budget at max is £690ish and my min is £500.

There are a few things to take into consideration though:
-Well-Known retailer preferred
-I don't want to risk a Plasma because I watch alot of channels with logos.
-Will a PS3 look better with a (1080p 5000:1 contrast 500cd/m) or a (720p 8000:1 contrast 550cd/m brightness)

I dropped my playstation 2 for the second time . I Have one of the old fat ps2's is it just me or are these things tanks. My brother has a slim and dropped it once and didn't work right. Should i be concerened i mean everythings fine. all my games still play. It doesn't make noises or anything. Also are thef at ps2's more durable than the slims?

I'm trying to decide which to use. I know that LP will record longer than SP and that SP has better quality. But I want to know what the difference in quality is. Is it how clear the picture is or better colors etc.
From what I'm thinking, I thought that its just how many frames per second there are. What I'm guessing it in SP, there's more frames per second which is why there's less recording time. I want more recording time but I just want to see if its worth it to record in SP. Can anyone confirm if it only has to do with the fps?
