No you will not be able to run a free view box without a Ariel .

Hi,
sorry, afraid not. Either get a sky box for the dish,or get an aerial for the freeview. the cheapest option is to get an aerial for the freeview box as long as you can receive the freeview service where you live. You will get a lot more channels and more variety with Sky.
