Install the latest version of iTunes.
Connect your iPod.
On the opening screen of iTunes select both "Manage Music Manually" and "Enable Disc Use"
Your iPod will now appear as a device in the left hand panel of iTunes, double click it and there is your music files, you can now drag and drop them into your iTunes library.

Unfortunately Apple does not allow you to take music off of an iPod and onto another computer =[

It will still work for charging, and you can listen to your songs from your iPod on the computer when the iPod is plugged in, but you can't put the songs into another library.

Although if you BOUGHT the songs, i bieleve that when you log in to itunes you can somehow retreive all of your songs.

THIS WEBSITE WILL SAVE YOUR LIFE! Lol.

I tried it, and it worked. It looks really complicated at first but it's not, it only took like five minutes to do it and about fifteen minutes to download my 500 songs from my iPod to my computer. And it's completely free, and you don't have to download anything. :]

Good luck!
