will it erase all my songs, since it(ipod) wasnt originally format to that computer?

Yes, that computer doesnt have any of your songs thus while looking for them..the computer will just take those songs off and eventually wipe your ipod clean.

Unless you have synced there before and asked it not to display warning messages, it will not sync; it will give you a box that comes up asking you if you want to sync to it.
if you choose no, it will still appear in itunes there, and you can manually put songs onto it, but it will not erase yours. Not sure about getting those songs back into your own library though...

no, a prompt will come up on the screen asking if you want to reformat, just select no.

the new itunes should just recognize yours
