I recently heard my analog TV won't work after February 2009 and I need to buy a new TV. Would it be cheapest to buy a converter box, a SDTV, or a HDTV? It really confuses me.

Ok, Right now I have a 20 something inch TV from like 1983. It only weighs like 200 pounds so as far as old TV's go it's not bad. So what's the problem? I would like to get a newer TV that won't break my VERY small bank account. Something around $100 and over 20 inches. Does such a thing even exist? Really would like to know where I could get something like this. Does the black market have a website? LOL

My wife has a very good contract with Orange - pay as you go pricing but on a monthly contract. They stopped offering it years ago but she's been able to keep it (her monthly bills can be £5 or so!) She now wants to upgrade her very old Nokia but not change the price plan.

She's after an easy to use, reliable, camera phone with removable memory card. Cost: up to £150ish.

Any suggestions?

My child is 12 and is wanting a cell phone. She goes to dances, practices, walks home from school, ect. Plus she is also helping to pay for it. The phone she wants is nothing special. Just an LG from Alltel. She wants a plan because of the daily access fee plus minutes. The plan she wants is 39.99 dollars a month. I can afford that with her helping me. But I'm still not sure.

My old TV just died. I need to buy a new one. I'm clueless about the TVs on the market now. I know I want a flat screen TV, but I don't know the difference between a HD, plasma, or regular TV. Can someone explain the differences in TVs on the market now? What would you suggest buying? Cost *is* a factor. I don't want the cheapest on the market, but I don't want to spend a fortune, either.

I'm shooting a wedding next month. I've never done a wedding before, but I've taken seniors ports. and lots of pictures of children, babies, etc. I have a really good camera. It's a Kodak Easy Share 7 MP. I can't remember what it's "Name" is, ya know, whether its a EX1234 or whatever. But, I'd like to know what the best setting is for taking indoor pictures. All of my outdoor pictures are beautiful!!! But anytime I do indoor they suck. They are blurry, or the flash brightens the object I'm shooting, but the background is dark. I would appreciate any and all help. I want the pictures to be beautiful. And I don't have access to Pro. Lighting.

I've had it with people talking on their cell phones while driving.
If you are going to use your phone, pull over and stop putting other inocent drivers, and other's in danger because their minds are somewhere else.
I've seen people fly through red lights while talking on the phone, stopped at a green light while they are talking and texting.
I still see 90% of people using them, without hands free devices.
And the text messaging bit while driving!!

Hi there,

I am wondering if there is a legitimate place online where I can find an old 35 mm Nikon for sale. Price is no object, as long as it works as it should!

I normally use a digital Nikon D50, but I really miss working with black and white film and I would like to revert back to film in order to start work on my newest project.

Also, where should I look for a Fisheye and Macro lens? I know of a million sites online where I can buy, but I have a bad history with buying online and I'm very hesitant to make any purchases. Can anyone put in a good word for a legimate site that has what I need?

A mini dvd for a camcorder.
Dvd was NOT finalized.
Can it be erased accidently not even knowing it while in the camera? Does charging the battery (charging is done with the camera) with the dvd in there may have caused it to loose all pictures?
We had movies and pictures on a DVDr recordable disc and when we went to put in the computer or Sony DVD player, or back in the camera, there is nothing there and camera is saying it cannot read it.

Please any advice on how to retrieve these special moments?

I received a telephone call last evening from an individual identifying
himself as an AT&T Service Technician (could also be Telus) who was
conducting a test on the telephone lines. He stated that to complete the
test I should touch nine(9), zero(0), the pound sign (#), and then hang
up. Luckily, I was suspicious and refused.

Upon contacting the telephone company, I was informed that by pushing
90#, you give the requesting individual full access to your telephone line,
which enables them to place long distance calls billed to your home phone
number.

I was further informed that this scam has been originating from many
local jails/prisons

DO NOT press 90# for ANYONE.

No this is not a question, I thought it would be good way to get info out.

My cell phone clock said 6 and my house clocks said 7. SO I was late for work bc my alarm went off at the right time but it was really 7. Its like my cell phone clock thought that it was day light savings time! WHOA!Has this happend to anyone else??

I just heard that Paramount and Dreamworks are signed on to HD DVD so i wont be seeing Shrek or Blades of Glory any time soon to mention a few. I asked this guy at best buy which format will win and he said blu ray definatly. Now im not so sure.
