The person who answered before me was correct, but if you want an in-depth website that tells you how to do it and has pics to show what to do, go here:

It looks hard but it's really easy and you don't have to download anything! Good luck! :]

Well, I just answered this question for someone else. But here ya go:

1. Go to "My Computer" and open it up.

2. Go to Tools, Folder Options, View, and select "Show hidden files."

3. Connect your iPod to your computer. When the iPod icon appears in the iTunes window (under Devices), select it.
If the Summary pane is not showing, click the Summary tab.
Select "Manually manage music." (If you have an iPod that displays video, the checkbox says "Manually manage music and video.")

4. Now go back to "My Computer," and open your ipod.

5. The music files are located in "iPod Control". Your songs will be in folders F01 - F20, depending on how many songs there are. The song names will be 4 letters, like FHXM. Don't worry about that. Copy those songs to your hard drive, then import them (drag them) into iTunes.
