I love taking photographs, and would like to grow as a photographer. I am looking at the rebel xti, but I don't want to get a camera that is to difficult to use. Is this easy to use, but at the same time, will let me grow?
Should I get the lens that most often comes with it? I read some reviews and it seems like the 17-85 is good, but expensive.... What makes sense?
I take people pictures mostly, (my baby, family, ect) but would like to be able to use it for other things.

Thanks!

I am thinking about buying a dvd recorder off of ebay and have seen a lot of them without remotes. Do you have to have the remote in order to record? There are some buttons on most of them but cant tell what they are.

When fully, plugged in, there should be audio output(sound/music/etc.) coming out from both the left and right speaker/headphone/etc. right?

The reason I ask is because I have one that, when used, doesn't have audio output from both the left and right when it's fully plugged in. If I moved the adapter out of the phone a little, in a certain place, then there's audio from both sides. This is a replacement b/c the 1st one did this too.

the product description doesn't say whether or not its stereo or not. It's from Meritline.Com. This is annoying b/c when if I get it to work w/ audio output from both sides, and it slightly moves, then there's sound from only one side or none then I have to move it again.

So nothing can really be moved to keep the audio output coming from both sides unless it's very carefully.

The product page:

I will be sending out marketing CDs. I have tried using the plastic and paper sleeves but I noticed they dont really keep the cd intact. Some returned ones turn out to be either heavily scratched or cracked in half. Blockbuster movies, however, that come in by mail are unscratched and very much intact. Im hoping it is some kind of paper which I can easily get from Office Depot or Office Max. Thanks!

I have a Sanyo VWM 406 VCR. I also have a Direct TV satellite dish, X Box, and DVD player hooked up through it. The only one I can get picture and sound from is the Direct TV. I have power on the VCR, DVD, and XBox, but cannot get any picture or sound. I have rechecked the wiring, and everything appears to be hooked up correctly. I have also left everything unplugged for several hours and replugged it all to see if that helps. It didn't. When I press the input button nothing happens either. I have lost the manuel to this VCR.

I am having trouble with my comcast digital cable. The cable itself keeps cutting in and out and gets all distorted. The sound skips gets kind of blocklike and by that i mean looks like blocks when it messes up. Does this happen to everyone? anyway that I can fix this? Any company that would be better? thanks!

I just bought and took home an Olevia 232V 32" LCD TV. The salesclerk at Circuit City didn't tell me about any accessory cables and I forgot to ask about them.

I don't have my cable set up yet in my new apartment. But I plan on ordering it soon.

Someone told me to go out and buy an HD Antenna now. Will it be obsolete if I get order Cable TV later on this week?

Thanks in advance....

My iPaq 2215 finally bit the dust...after 2.5 years. It was a workhorse! They don't sell iPaqs at Office Depot anymore! Just Palms...

I don't want a smart phone...I think a phone should be...well...a phone! Is Palm (e.g. TX) the new iPaq?

... allows you to play a copied DVD on another player? I have an older VHS to DVD recorder, but the DVD's can't play in any other player but that one it was copied from. I want to avoid this. What brand VHS to DVD recorder should I buy so I'm able to playback in a different player.

It's about to be my b-day, and my ipod has a really bad battery. It is a mini (probably need to get another one anyways). I think I should get a nano, but I don't know if that is right. If you can tell me the best ipod (put in anything else that I need to know) and how many songs it can hold, then that would good, but whatever works. Just tell me the best.
