Will a treadmill with an electrical requirement of 120 VAC 50-60hz use up a significant amount of electricity more then a machines with the same requirements but without a motor? Or will it use up the same amount of elec. then say a game console.

I want to know if using 2-4 times/week will jack up the electric bill.

I have/had a canon sd 450 but the lcd screen went two weeks ago and now the lens is jammed out so its pretty much garbage. Other then it breaking, the only major complaints I had were the semi-slow picture taking time, and blurry pictures due to my slightly unsteady hand (I love taking candid shots.)

I also felt the zoom range and flash could use some improvement but overall I was happy with my camera.

I want to know if the 850 is worth the extra $$ or if there is another compact camera that would be recommended to me.

I have digital rebel xt. I bought it nearly 4 weeks ago. now there is one annoying grey spot o my pictures. I need to get it cleaned. it is first time I'm doing it. what should I use. Any advice?. many people clean it by themselves. should I use usual dust cleaners and cotton and do at home really carefully or do I really need to buy those cleaning kits??? I dont wanna do something that will make my new camera JUNK.
any ideas?????

Is there any way to check a stylus for wear without having access to a microscope?

I know that a diamond stylus is usually good for a few hundred hours play, and that eventually a worn stylus will be clearly evident by distorted sound, but as I understand, the stylus can already have been causing damage to records by then.

Are there, for example, any more subtle changes in the sound quality before this stage which can indicate that a stylus is starting to wear?

I'm completely new to all of this HDTV stuff, and after just receiving HD yesterday, I'm not as satisfied as I thought I would be (what do you expect for 'no extra cost', right?).

I was wondering if there is a way to watch DVDs in HD. Like I said, I'm completely new to all of this and I have no clue. Does it have to do with the DVD player you are using?

which one do you think is the best. im a teen that just wants to take pictures to put on myspace and stuff. i want the camera to have a good battery life and really good pictures .oh and does the 1st link work with memory cards? thank you. please tell me which one is the best. ;-]

Mostly directing this question at the regulars, such as Morey 000, Dr. Sam, Petra Au, and Tom Tom. Is there any digital camera out there where without hesitation I know I can get an excellent 16X20 or at least excellent 11X14 consistently? As we all know, there's no gurantee that all cameras with 10 megapixels or higher can accomplish this. Or do you people flatly recommend a DSLR?

When I try to sync songs to my Sansa E250, it sometimes does not put the picture of the album on there, even though it may appear in Media Player 11, like it's there in the advanced tag options. Also, sometimes Media Player 11, says it accepts the pic in advanced tag options, but when I click apply and ok, and go back and look it's not there. This is really steaming my broccoli. Any ideas? I've already updated and re-downloaded and installed Media Player.

Okay im hooking up my TV. . .and ive never hooked up a tv before.

Im using the same equipment as my old tv.

Im using the following stuff:

Dish DVR, like a Tivo only dumber and cheaper

An adapter, it hooks into my xbox, then the tv, and into my DVR

And 1 cord leading from my satelite dish to the DVR

So. . .does anyone know how to hook that all up?

I am installing an intercom/music system in my home and I need to know what's the best way to power the two transformers in it. I will be installing the master station by a light switch but the light switch is on the other side of the stud (not new construction). I got my PSP from the street which means i didnt buy it someone gave it to me from my neighborhood. Okay, i try to connect to the internet but it says no acces point something like that aqcuired.
