Hi.
My current computer has a DVI output on it and I am wondering if it is possible to use a DVI-HDMI cable to connect to my 1080p LCD panel.
Once connected I am wanting to be able to play my 1080p content from my computer on the LCD panel in 1080p resolution. Is this possible by using a DVI-HDMI cable? The content off my computer would be unencrypted video.

What could cause snow in the background of the screen when watching a dvd?

I am using a hdmi cable connecting a Samsung DVD player with progressive on to a Hitachi 51" rear projection HDTV. Seems to be unclear, fuzzy, like there is snow in the background. Does the same thing with component cables. Does the disk need to be an HD-DVD to be clear. My 27" had a better picture. I used magic focus but it doesn't help.Any suggestions to improve picture. It it supposed to be 1080i but it looks like 480i. The tv is set to 1080i. Whats the deal.

Verizon Texting Plan Questions?

I have Verizon Wireless and I also have a texting plan for 250 text for 5 dollars per month.

i have a couple questions bout this

does this include pix and flix texting?

if i recive a text do i loose a text from my 250?

How do I switch cell phone providers?

I am willing to pay the cancellation fee if necessary, but can someone walk me through the process. Should I sign up with the new carrier, before canceling with my current? I want to make sure I can transfer my number, but not sure how to do this. I also want to make sure I limit my cell phone disruption, since it is my home phone too. I am hoping someone has gone through this process and can provide insight.

Display on TV with Vista Media Center on an HP Pavilion m7760n?

I just bought an HP m7760n with Vista Media Center built in. Everything is set up and I can view videos, photos, etc through my regular VGA monitor. But I can't find the video/audio out ports in order to display on my TV. All I see on the TV card I/O are for inputs, and if I put either S-vid or composite cables into them and plug them into my TV, nothing comes out on the TV.

I've got a Sony Wega 40". I'm using the video 2 inputs in the front. I know they work because I just had my Wii connected there. What am I doing wrong?

If i get PINK
my fave color is pink but i already have a pink razor. i think i may get bored with pink. i also think pink is an ordinary color bc a lot of phones r pink.

So are you going to buy an iPhone?

I'm not biased or anything. If that's what you want, then I say go for it if you can afford it. As for me, I'm not really that interested.
I do think it would be interesting to play with one for awhile though.

4gb or 8gb nano?

hey peeps! i'm getting a new ipod nano, and idk if i should get a 4gb or 8gb. i have a 2gb now, and it's full of songs. literally. i have about...oh...i'd say 600-650 songs total, and only like 50 pics. i'm not really sure which i should get. the problem with the 8gb is it only comes in black. so, help me! thx
