I have sound and the picture is around the edges. did I hit a button on the remote? how do I fix this? its so annoying!

Look for the CC button on your Remote or Captions in the VIDEO portion of your MENU.....
You're in TEXT mode....press the remote's button until it says OFF on the screen or select OFF in the MENU....

Turn off the closed caption mode on the remote or menu. Second opinion.

shut off tv and turn back on, mine does this too sometimes and i think it has something to do with the menu screen. not really sure though.
