Depends on who your carrier is. Usually if they your contract that you have with a carrier with a sim card you can just buy the pre paid phones for that carrier. If it a sprint phone try going to a sprint corporate store or a radioshack in your area they have refurb phones. Radioshack refurb phones aren't bc it was broken once that they had to repair it to resale it. Its bc customer that go it brought it back bc they didn't like the phone or it was too much or too less of features they were looking for so that best option is to get a refurb at a radioshack. email me if you have any questions I will go in more detail I work at radioshack
