I am in college, and I am trying to cut off some expenses. I have a contract that is going to expire in 5 days. Should I stay with it? Or, should I change to pre-paid? Most of my family has Cingular, so I do not want to switch companies.

The tele is a GE it's 37 inch and the vertical broke when I pushed the power button off three times in a row. It looks like it want to work you can see one line down the centre of it. It's really heavey and to move it I need two people to help, so does anyone out there know about vertical problems on GE Televistions

My TV, a Panasonic just gave out a loud bang like a component exploding inside and then went into stand by mode. I pressed a button to see if it still worked and it does !

I found an older cable modem in my basement w/o a power cord. However, I tried the power cable for my speakers; it works. Can I use that adapter for my modem? Is it safe? Its a 12VDC 1A adapter.

I got it as a hand me down from my cousin who bought it in England, she brought it full of songs. It worked fine with her music on it then I deleted everything, formatted, reset, the whole works.
