how do I make my sony Ecrisson louder?

My sony ecrisson is to the Max of louder(thats what it says)
anyways, is there any way to make it even louder so at least i can hear the person in a crowd?
and the model of it is a Sony Ecrisson K300i

Put it through a pa system. Every phone is different. If you've had it for a short time take it back and get another one. Or it may be the audio level on the traffic channel you are on from the cell site. Does this happen all over or in just one place? Have you tried it on a headset?
