Each picture taken is stored in the memory until the memory is full. Then the camera will stop taking pictures until you erase (delete) some pictures or reformat the memory (flash) which will also erase all pictures. 32 MBytes should hold about 50 pictures, depending on the resolution.

For about $40 you can get yourself a high speed 1Gb memory card from a reliable on-line retailer like NewEgg.

the 32mb that came with the camera is just to get you started.

Oh- it's totally re-writeable, but you'll need to delete the photos that are currently stored in on that 32 mb disk before you can refill it. Depending on resolution, you'll be able to get anyware from 7 to 40 photos on that 32 mb.

It doesn't renew itself.

32MB simply indicates that without any external memory attached to it that is that cameras available memory.

You can only refresh that when photos/videos you have taken are then transferred to your computer.

What I would advise you is to insert a 1GB memory card. This may not have come with the package so therefore you need to purchase one. 1GB would I guess since you are new at digital cameras, be enough to shoot pictures. (Try amazon.com and ebay.com or your local camera/printing shop)

Simply transfer them to your computer when youre done.

If the digital camera is a cutting-edge style, they oftentimes purely supply you adequate inner memory for in line with possibility 4 or 5 photos, simply by fact they want you to purchase one greater memory card. the particular style of photos relies upon on what share megapixels your digital camera is. the better the megapixels, the less (yet bigger high quality) photos would be taken on a sequence volume of memory. wish this grew to become into useful!
