Motorola states that the phone has an mp3 player in it. Nothing on verizon's site acknowleges the phones built in mp3.

Actually, i am sorry to tell you you purchased the wrong phone model if you want Mp3's. It isn't motorola who says it can play Mp3's...Its Verizon. Motorola just builds it how Verizon Wants it. The phone Motorola Razr V3m is the nations only multimedia razr! It is the brother phone of yours.

The Razr v3c is not a music phone...you need a v3m for that. No music kit will help, as the phone doesn't have the ability to play music.

I think you have to buy a "music kit" from Verizon, which will include a small SD Card that you can transfer files to from your computer, and/or a USB cable.

The kit costs 19.99 I believe.
