I used to have a AT&T service plan, but now i don't have an cell service at all. Im wondering whether I can just buy a prepaid calling card, and insert the SIM (?) card into the old phone, and would that work? or do i have to buy an entirely new prepaid phone & card package like the Virgin Mobile thing?

The window did flash momentarily 'disc' and full battery icon. Hold button is something you turn, all the rest, you press. On one side is button with icons that look like forward and back and right below it are the letters chg with an arrow down. There's a volume button. I attached the headphones. I pushed each button. Why doesn't the 'play mode' play? And what is the hold gizmo for?

I am trying to update my library onto my Ipod NANO. (2gb).
It will only update less than 1gb of songs. Then when I put it back onto the dock to update it for more songs, it says
"ERROR - Attempting to copy to the disk MELS IPOD has failed. The disk can not be read from or saved to".
What do I do so this doesn't happen? ALSO it wont update my Ipod up to its full 2gb. How do I use the capacity memory on the Ipod? I don't have any pictures or anything saved on there, I just bought it a few weeks ago. I have about 100 songs on there so far, then it just came up with an error message and wont let me add any more songs... Thanks!

I want to hook an HDMI DVD player directly into my HD TV for the video feed, but I need to use an audio coaxial cable in my receiver for surround sound (my receiver doesn't have HDMI inputs). Will this work or do you have to use HDMI for both audio/video?

My boyfriend just got one of them, and every day or two, it pops up a message asking if he wants to set the time and date. It also pops up a message after every call and before every text showing the status of the minutes left. The ones that pop up before the text messages are especially inconvenient because it forces him to go through several menu layers to read the message instead of popping it up like most phones do. Is there any way to change this? There don't seem to be any settings to change in the "settings" menu.

I have a 2gb ipod nano, and when i go on i tunes there are 113 songs in my libry and it is around 650 mb, but when i click on the ipod tab where iot says all the songs i have on it, at the bottom where the memery bar is it is allmost full. So the songs are only around 650mb an it's a 2gb memory, why is it almost full?

What is the best mp3 player that's no more than $75, something that's good for hiking with, perhaps maybe a little running/jogging, and probably bowling, which I know isn't a real physical sport so it doesn't really matter if i just said that or not. I would like it if it was fairly small, not longer than a pencil so that I could ahve it in my pocket. I hope it's durable. And if you have had it and it's been good to you, would you mind writing a review about all its features and pros/cons (like sound quality, durability, y'know) and maybe some tips? okay... my sister just sold me her ipod and my computer recently had to get everything deleted off of it. it deleted the itunes, and when i tried to re-install it, the agreements thing comes up and if you click agree it will just say, " the itunes application could not be opened. an unknown error occured. (-50) " what does that mean? and do i download itunes again?

I just bought Star Wars Galaxies and what is ridiculous is the fact that you have to pay for both the game and the online account...What's up with that?
