okay... my sister just sold me her ipod and my computer recently had to get everything deleted off of it. it deleted the itunes, and when i tried to re-install it, the agreements thing comes up and if you click agree it will just say, " the itunes application could not be opened. an unknown error occured. (-50) " what does that mean? and do i download itunes again?

You can easily get iTunes from their own site. You don't need the disk to do it, my disk is still unopened.

The same thing happened to me...I still can't download anything and it wouldn't do too good because I don't have a soundcard!

It means since you deleted it you cant reinstall it but i had the same problem with mine and i downloaded it again.

I had that just today. I removed i-Tunes in add and remove programs. I then reinstalled i-Tunes from the CD. On the bright side I still had all my library.

Try downloading it again, and if your music is gone (which is likely) then you're really out of luck.
