I am trying to update my library onto my Ipod NANO. (2gb).
It will only update less than 1gb of songs. Then when I put it back onto the dock to update it for more songs, it says
"ERROR - Attempting to copy to the disk MELS IPOD has failed. The disk can not be read from or saved to".
What do I do so this doesn't happen? ALSO it wont update my Ipod up to its full 2gb. How do I use the capacity memory on the Ipod? I don't have any pictures or anything saved on there, I just bought it a few weeks ago. I have about 100 songs on there so far, then it just came up with an error message and wont let me add any more songs... Thanks!

You will have to reformat it you can do this by downloading the latest ipod software from ipod.com and installing it. This will erase everything on your ipod and that should fix any errors.
