If you are talking about the famous AE1 shutter squeak, unfortunately, you don't. Oh, you can take it in to a repair man and he will clean and lube the shutter mechanism, and it may work more quietly for a bit, but in a month or two, it will come back.

Canon assures us that there is nothing wrong with the shutter that squeaks (and eventually most do). And in fact, they may be right, the AE1 and AE1P are over 20 years old now, and there are a LOT of squeaky cameras still being used by photographers who wouldn't give up their squeaky and heavy cameras for anything (I own 2 bodies).
