I just bought Star Wars Galaxies and what is ridiculous is the fact that you have to pay for both the game and the online account...What's up with that? Isn't it enough that they take $20 from me and when I get home I find out I need to give them another $15? Why is every single multiplayer free online except this one?

well my question is why do you pay for online play when other games like Halo, America's army, etc.. don't charge you?

I looked at the box and it said "Fees 'may' be required" that means it's possible that they charge you and anyway why should they charge us, we already paid for the game and we can't play it without online acounts...If anything it should be Halo and other games with single player games that should charge for multiplayer, at least you can play something without paying extra...

That how they update the game, pay the staff, and everything else. There are alot games that have a monthly payment you just don't look in the box and they would tell you that. Some games don't have a monthly charge because they not going to update it.

I think you're confused. WoW, Warcraft, Star Wars Galaxies - they all cost a monthly subscription rate. If you didn't know this, you didn't read the box very carefully.
