How can we get the actual voltage and current measurements in the multimeter?

you can measure the voltage with a volt meter by placing the red probe on the positive source and the black probe on the ground. IE, in parallel with the circiut

To measure current you need to make a break in the circut between the positive source and the circuit. IE, in series with the circuit.

A volt meter will give the actual voltage i dont know how you would get the current.

to get volts, you set it to voltage, set meter on clsest to belived voltage, to get amps, you need power to run through the meter
