I need to get a cable for my projector, what should I get? S-video cable or component cable.?

S video is second to last in quality. Component is near the top when it comes to analog signals. (Seems to be an ongoing argument between RGB and component fans). Then comes digital DVI and HDMI, which are the best formats.

Component is the best signal you will get...
I work for one of the biggest projector makers, component will almost always give you the best picture quality assuming the source signal is decent.

Component is definitely preferred.
